Seen in films such as Roxanne and The Incredibles, she continued acting into her early 90s, most recently seen as the Librarian on the FOX series Glee and in iCarly. Married in 1949 to the late Charles Carmine Zambello , Jean is survived by her daughter, opera and theater director Francesca Zambello, of New York; her son, art and antique dealer, Larry Zambello, of New Mexico; and her grandson Gabriel. 

Jean, a vivacious and enthusiastic lover of life, theater, opera and travel, was a devout Christian Scientist.
