A display of vintage wedding gowns plus a “red carpet” show of contemporary wedding dresses will highlight a Brides of Weston exhibition at the Weston Historical Society.The event, co-sponsored by the Weston Women’s League, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 5 at the Coley Homestead at 104 Weston Road.The afternoon includes a reception featuring old-fashioned wedding punch, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and mini wedding cakes.Dressed for the occasion will be 12 mannequins with period wedding gowns that reflect styles dating as far back as 1812 and handed down by prominent Weston families.
